No luck tonight but great weather. Was very relaxing.

Let's see yours.

I need to get out soon but they are still talking close to 80 degrees for next week. To warm for me for hunting. Prefer 30 degrees

I hear you! would have taken a heck of a deer for me to throw an arrow. Barely under 70 degrees when I got down from tree. Bugs like ticks and having to hustle to cool the meat can take away from the experience. Just needed to get out today.

I'm guessing the bear was 350lbs pretty long body but a lil thin and I was up about 25' anything less than that the game picks you out.

Not in the stand but right next to it on the cabin porch having a cup of coffee while the wife smoked.

... usually bloated when you get to it... pull out the knife and let the air out.... yank out the guts... drag to the road .. get the truck and load it up.... drive to the house and hang it from the chain that’s tied off the 90 degree limb on that pin oak tree next to the shed... then skin, quarter and put it on ice lol

I once ate a liver shot buck that I didn’t find till 14 hours later in 80 degree overnight weather.... that thing was tender .... deer meat holds up better than most think
