I heard from 2 different people that propane may be hard to come by this winter. Even for people who have contracted it as I have. What's everybody else hearing?

Propane is supposed to be tripling in price and may be unavailable in many areas this Winter.

We are pumping less and exporting more. The amount of propane available is down 21% from the normal level over the last 5 years, mostly due to biden's poor decisions. People in America are seeing shortages of many commonly available products. It's getting rapidly worse. People will likely be dying soon.

2x + the 500gal tank. Dad just bought a 1000 gallon tank that won't be delivered for a while yet.

Filled 2 20lb tanks (8 gallons) for $22 Friday. Told me winter prices are higher and over the decades noticed it's always crazy during the 1st year of a new potus, but didn't expect to see it this high. Before talking to him I figured since it was hot air balloon season here prices would be higher. I didn't expect a $0.50 increase from late August.

This supplier is the cheapest and one of the biggest suppliers around here.

Looking to get 2 more 100 LB tanks. OUTRAGEOUS prices on tanks through outlets here. Found some for about 1/3 the price same brand online. Has me wondering where all the difference is.Tank # 1

Clicked back and fourth between tanks, I se no difference at all. I like the tanks with the safety shroud around the valve v/s a thread on cap, much easier to handle. I better get all my empties filled for my cabin. I keep two hooked up and two on standby. Cooking, lights and heating water is done with propane.

i think lots of stuff we use daily will be seeing price hikes and shortages....

I have at least 6 they won't fill now as too old. Quite a hassle to get them retested and then only good for a couple years.

It's a scam, y'all. I googled the company selling them for so cheap, and google says it's a scam website. So don't order any!

We usually get down in the single digits for a few days at least. Mostly though it's just a damp cold. You know like when it's 40 degrees and raining all day and you're sitting in a treestand? Yuck. I'd rather be sitting in a treestand at 10 degrees than in 40 degree rain.

Take your old dated tanks to a place that does tank exchange instead of refilling them. I've done it at Wal-Mart , best price for an exchange around here. Downside to that is you only get a tank that is about 3/4 full but you get a newer tank.
