sweetwilliam OP trapper S Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 919 Ontario, Canada	Wife and I drove to Toronto yesterday and picked up our daughter and grandson at noon today. Just got back home. He is doing well with his treatments and doesn't have to go back until December for a checkup. It's been a long 7 months not being able to see them with covid and the restrictions glad to have them home and close by again.

My paratroop kid will miss a 2nd Christmas away from home but he's not sick so perhaps your story puts things a little bit more in perspective... Was diagnosed in early February and there was covid restrictions on our hospitals. My wife was able to make one trip to see them but I was not because of work. He is in remission for now and only has to go to Sudbury once a month and Toronto every 3 months so that is manageable.
