Rough last 10 games of the season for our Brewers. Their offense was shut down and their pitching staff got hammered. I don't know if they were slacking off a bit or if they are just not able to win against really tough competition. The Cardinals really look tough and if they had a 1dt half like the 2nd half they would have won the division. The Dodgers have home field but this will be a tough match up even for them. I can see why many analysts tapped the National League Central as the weakest division in the MLB. We got to step it up.

Toronto lost out so it will be the Red Sox and Yankees in a one game with the game in NYC.
I think we have the Braves and that is an uphill for the Brewers with the Braves being pretty hot lately.
We will see how the first rounds go.

Hopefully the Cards beat out the Dodgers right away then lose along with the Brewers first chance they get, can't stand any of the three. Giants are my hope for NL champions.

I have always been a NL fan as the Braves came to Milwaukee when I was 7 and followed those teams. Kept the Braves as a team to watch even after they moved. I too have followed the Giants for several years. They really have proved that a team can regain fire and win. They flex and bend but find ways to win. I am losing hope for our Brewers as the end of the season showed some shortcomings in their ability to win big games against playoff type teams. My World series I would like to see would be the Rays play the Giants. We will see. Long road to get there and for every mile of road there are two miles of ditches!

I refuse to root for any east or west coast team.
I want the Cardinals to win it all but if not the Brewers, Braves, Astros, White Sox will work.
The Cardinals don’t have the pitching to go very deep in the playoffs.

Obviously I'm biased being from Missouri, but I never understand why so many people dislike the Cardinals. Their club has always raised and created their talent rather than buy it. That is what MLB should be about. Not which billionaire owner can afford to show off his money and buy a team.

IMO, the mlb playoff system stinks. It should be the four best teams from each League at the end of regular season...Forget the divisions. After playing 162 games, ONE Wildcard playoff game between #4 and #5 is bunk. Top 4 should be there (1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3). SF should be playing SLC (not Atlanta) and LAD should be playing MIL...TB should be playing the winner of the Red Sox v. NYY (#4 tie-breaker) and the Astros should play Chisox

cards wont make it past the dodgers..........mighty max will shut the cards down..................it wont matter in the end....as a cubs fan...I hate to admit it, but....chisox will win the world series...........those kids are hungry.

White Sox have had an easy road to the playoffs. They need to be able to sharpen up. Talent is one thing, knowing how to win in pressure situations is another. The Astros have players I really like but I guess I am too stubborn and have not really got past the cheating aspect they did and everyone of those in management, coaching, playing is still there making money. We have players who were suspended due to drugs who probably will never make the HOF and Rose still is not given any grace, but they paid the fine and in the USA money talks.
