Does anyone know the best (and affordable) way to get a large cutting "surface" so I can butcher beavers and deer (Then... wash down)?
Meaning, something large enough that an entire beaver carcass (minus the tail) will fit on.
Right now I just use garbage bags over a stump which is getting old.
Is the answer something plastic? Or steel? What is the smart way to do it? I can keep the stump, I just need a surface I can spray off between animals. Or so I can spray off any castor or pee or whatever and flip the beaver carcass.
Thank you.

Kitchen countertop from a remodel will work. That is what I use.

I use foldable plastic tables. Like used at craft shows, etc. Available at Walmart in a couple sizes. Not too expensive. Plastic is tough and kinda like cutting board plastic. Easy to wash off.

Likely cheaper than plywood these days! And you can fold up and stash for off season and still have it for party's garage sales etc.

Comb the sales flyers at places like Harbor Freight, TSC, Northern Tool, etc. You can often find stainless steel tables on sale or clearance depending on time of year. HF sells a hardwood workbench that you could just cover with a roll of butcher paper each time.
Just happy to be here.

Family get together. Easy to clean, easy to store and easy to transport.

Wether I buy it in the grocery store or shoot it out of a hay meadow or take it out of a 330, meat gets cut up on the dining room table.

these they lay very flat https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/finfoerdela-flexible-chopping-board-dark-gray-dark-turquoise-30335898/I did a cow on the kitchen work table a basic 32x72 work table , I put bricks under the legs to raise it up to a better working height for me you only really need a cutting board under where you are cutting at deer camp we use a poly folding table we made leg extenders for it out of pvc pipe to get it to waist height.and a few of these cheap ikea cutting boards I have never been to an Ikea but my wife goes about once a year , asks if I want anything , yes cutting boards and don't bring home any furniture.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
