Law Dog OP trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 34,872 Central, SD	The wife and I have been hitting the carp the last 5 days 68 so far, only caught 2 on one of those days got 20 today man them things can fight. Lugnut trapper L Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 20,029 SEPA	Never heard of mirror carp, had to look them up. Apparently they were introduced to North America in the mid-1800's along with the common carp. I guess they just didn't thrive as well as their cousins. Apparently they can reach 80lbs, Eh...wot?

For bait we threaded whole kernel corn on it and let it sit on the bottom. They really do fight. We are told not to judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but are told to judge all gunowners by the actions of a few.

coonman220 trapper C Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 5,951 n.e, iowa	I caught a 38 lbs carp below lock an dam in dbq Iowa a few years back on probly 15 or 18 lbs line, took probly 45 min to land, on rare occasion I hook something huge an had take off with me set or lite up drag on reel an keep go an bust line, maybe once a summer, not this summer, last summer had happen, came out water an hook come out, not sure was but big , ppl make up bs, last Sunday I watch guy fish an say I got 2 big cat, he caught a lil blue gill all Last edited by coonman220; 10/05/21 03:39 PM.
