Filled all the tanks here on 9/23. $2.79/gallon.
Propane company said prices will likely keep increasing.

Local coop had a 100% pre-pay program at $1.69 so paid for 600 gallons for our house & shop and 1,000 gallons at my mother's home. Mom's tank was filled last Friday and truck price is $2.12 for now, driver said he wouldn't be surprised if it went >$3 this heating season. Glad to have fire-wood as primary house heat!

what decision did Biden make in the last 9 months that would effect prices so rapidly?
This is way too easy Piker: "Biden’s drilling moratoriums, discouragement of investment in the U.S. oil and gas sector, as well as the demonization of the oil and gas industry, are putting the U.S. on the verge of an energy crisis"

You can take that " on the verge " out of your sentence. It is an energy crisis in the making and there is no stopping it with the idiots that are currently at the helm.

It's not "my" sentence it is a "quote" from the Fox Business News link posted by the OP. That said, "on the verge" and "in the making" seem very similar, no?

Interesting post about propane propaneThat is an interesting post and realistic when they say, "green plans and goals are simply unachievable". Common sense should indicate that. Propane has been proven to be safe for the environment, more cost efficient, and more practical than all the green nonsense.

Trapper7, reason, logic, fair play, the rule of law all left the conversation being led and implemented by the Biden* administration. Their goal is open now: to destroy America so they can remake us into their socialist utopia. They and their foreign allies are attacking American culture, law, identity, economy etc from every angle. They know they have a short window of opportunity to achieve their most important milestones, so they have pulled out the stops on everything. Anything associated with domestic energy production is a form and symbol of American independence, and so the lawless illegal Biden* administration is attacking our energy supplies and production. People keep saying the administration is full of idiots. No, they are not idiots. They are doing things completely the opposite of how WE would do things because they feel the OPPOSITE about America than we do. They are raising prices and creating economic chaos because it creates a crisis they can exploit for political gain. America is in huge trouble. Our nation is being deliberately failed by domestic enemies working with foreign enemies against We, The People. Propane price dynamics are just one good example.

The propane shortage ( if it exists ) is probably related to all the other shortages created by the rona nonsense last year. Printing money last year and handing it out means people have money to spend, but a shortage of products to buy. This causes prices to increase. Enjoy!

"Russian Output Europe is facing gas shortages, but Russia has a crunch of its own. Gazprom has boosted production this year, but it’s directing the additional output to refill depleted storage sites at home. Russia has been producing close to its maximum capacity, but its domestic needs have curbed availability to Europe, according to the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies.
“Russia is not running out of gas and its prolific gas reserves allow Russia to meet much higher overall demand, but this requires time, money, and contractual assurances of offtake,” said OIES Senior Research Fellow Vitaly Yermakov.
Some analysts have argued that Russia has capped flows to Europe as a way to get its controversial Nord Stream 2 pipeline to Germany online. Flows through the link could improve supplies, but the start of commercial operations will depend on regulatory certification — first in Germany, then at the European Commission. That could run well into next year. US sanctions have also created challenges for the project.
The IEA stressed that it’s wrong to blame the shift away from fossil fuels for the surge in gas prices. The comments came a week after Frans Timmermans, the EU’s climate chief, warned that the record spike in energy prices must not undermine the European Union’s resolve to cut emissions.
“Recent increases in global natural gas prices are the result of multiple factors, and it is inaccurate and misleading to lay the responsibility at the door of the clean energy transition,” said IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol."

"President Biden is treating a European pipeline, the Nord Stream 2, very differently than the Keystone XL. Nord Stream 2 is a natural gas pipeline from Russia to Germany, on whose construction the United States had placed sanctions. Despite bipartisan support for the sanctions on Russia against Nord Stream 2, President Biden weakened those sanctions, which will secure the pipeline’s completion. The Biden administration waived sanctions on the corporate entity (Nord Stream 2 AG) and its CEO (Putin friend and former East German intelligence officer Matthias Warnig) overseeing the construction of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline into Germany."
