This winter (that just ended) down under recorded an average daily low of 4.5 degrees colder than the past 30 year average. It was also reported to be the coldest on record. No global warming on that continent.

Yep , we are certainly seeing climate and weather extremes. Last month a small mountain river near me swelled to five feet above its highest ever flood level. Killed about six people and property damage is very high. Washed out ten state bridges I think.

Weather isn't climate. Climate is a pattern in weather developed over time. Climate change, or the lack thereof, cannot be determined by single weather event.

THIS is why global warming changed it's gender to climate change. No matter whether it goes up or down, they can say they were right...and we need to pay more taxes to fix it.

unless you believe in MMGW. if so, any hot day is proof positive of your belief system.

I always check the temperature when driving through a Solar collection field, it never disappoints. Always a few degrees warmer.

All I know is the weather is messing with my Turkey hunting the last few years these mild winters has them way off track in their spring patterns. The hens are staying longer in the trees well into the season with no dispersal in places. That has caused a drop in the harvest numbers even with the same amount of birds out there.

So our GFP wanted to cut down on tags because of what they see on paper but lack real boots on the ground to see the true bird numbers. I went out 6 times to the Black Hills and never shot a bird but when the bad weather rolled in 100s of birds were pushed out into the field edges. The lack of harvest was caused by the lack of a dispersal they had little reason to respond like a normal season as they had everything they wanted at the time.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

If the weather has ever did it b4 it will do it again.

No surprises there....except to those folks that only look at the weather during their short lives.

Cant look at Earth's climate based on a few human generations.

But let us have just one week of really hot temps in one year and it's global warming climate cooling change. It's all man made and the fingers get pointed at the US never mind China and India. There is talk of carbon credits and higher taxes on fossil fuels. Talk of the importance of solar, wind and battery power with zero talk of the trash caused by that branch of energy production. Heaven forbid you speak of burning wood!! (The vapors!!!) And then we should also be worried about cow farts and burps.

So many people watch drama propaganda news and do ZERO research to see if it is true. The just eat the crap sandwich they are handed and say yummy. Sheep.
