Another morning in the stand. Again not much happening. Last 2 weeks of October and first 2 weeks of November are the best weeks to be in the woods. Seeing lots of scrapes.
Looking forward to being in the stand in the morning. Captured a spike buck and this guy on the camera. Is laying down next to a scrape common? I guess if you are waiting on a female Lord knows how long you would stand there so resting might be a good move. lol

Maybe in your spot but I know some guys who already tagged out with giants.

That ain’t good rye. lol I’m guessing you came all this way so time wasn’t an issue. I’m squeezing in a hunt when I can. I better be hoping they respond to calls and rattles.
You're stinking up the area when you keep going in.
I agree with this unless the area is commonly visited by people year round. Ill make one scouting trip or two and the next time I'm there, I'm hunting. Let it rest some? Have you figured out where he feeds and where he beds?

I hunt where people usually aren't I should add.
Yes I know where they are feeding and bedding but I’m not hunting there.

spent 4 days up there each time. Around Chicamuxen and another state land area, would have to look at the map again.
