I post about this a year ago , not feel like taking boards out piles, store cellar, so go wipe edges where see lil whiteild in some spots, the whole board not moldy but just few in places, if miss sone spots an when use board in cone months, if just wipe off with paper towel , it don't come back N get on fur an not big deal ?

I just wipe off damp rag with peroxide in places an stack, then decide wipe dryer an restack from little wetness peroxide , an restack, the white spots come right back after wipe the first time , forget it an use as is or wipe off bfore use

I store mine in the cellar too Dave and they get the same mold. Just wipe them down and go to it they'll be fine

If you find mold on your boards when its time to use them,give them a quick spray with wd40 and wipe them down-then you can use them immediately.If you have mold growing on anything it means you have a humidity problem.
Wipe them down with rubbing alcohol,let them dry in the sun and store in your attic.
And get a de humidifier for your basement in the summer.

I had a $250 dehumidifier an didn't even last 7-8 yrs, didn't work right an trip circuit breaker also use tons electricity ,never again , I not going be concern it, coon are not worth lot anyhow , it didn't get on other boards, just coon boards for some reason

Your de humidifier was likely too small for the amount of humidity/area.
Or you had it set to remove too much.I set mine to maintain 40% in my tanned fur storage area.That is plenty dry enough.
It should not run steady.

Peroxide should work ? If not I try lil wd 40 when just bfore use
