Made the first one and tried out my new peeler, corer, slicer and it worked amazingly well and takes less than 20 seconds to do an apple and it's ready for the pie. It was so easy I might have overstuffed it a bit. It works on potatoestoo, you just move the corer out of the way.

Nice looking pie! I have a peeler just like that. I never thought of using it on potatoes…I’ll have to keep that in mind!

Just loosen the wingnut and move the corer out of the way and you are ready for potatoes.

Mac's are the apple of choice in my area, both for pies, and cider.

Looks good flipper. I have the same peeler, used it to put up apples for many years. I don't know what kind of apples are on our tree but they make great pie.

Great looking pie. Mac's are my choice. Unfortunately there aren't any orchards near me. A pilgrimage to the Scoharie Valley was a fall tradition.
