Nice looking pie! I have a peeler just like that. I never thought of using it on potatoes…I’ll have to keep that in mind! Just loosen the wingnut and move the corer out of the way and you are ready for potatoes.

It,s my first apple pie so I have only tried Michigan Gala in this one and I have not tasted it yet. I am like Sergeant Shultz, I know nothing!!

If you can find them my wife go to apples for pie and apple sauce are Wolf Rivers. Very are to fine, no a good looking apple or good to eat free hand. Real old apple.

Great looking pie. Mac's are my choice. Unfortunately there aren't any orchards near me. A pilgrimage to the Scoharie Valley was a fall tradition.
