Ok gang,,, I’ve got a dirt hole auger that it’s approximately 2 inches in diameter,, I put it into my 18 volt black and decker cordless and it ain’t got the stuff to pop in a hole… I hooked up my regular corded drill to see if maybe the ground was to hard,,, and it popped in a perfect hole. What size drill you guys using??? I kinda like that auger if I can get it to work.

18 v Ryobi with 3 amp batteries is what I use. Maybe your batteries are weak.

Ive got a 20v with extra battery. Two auger heads, one 1.5" and one 3.5" and it works just fine all day dirtholes. In really hard or frozen ground the smaller auger works better. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
