What do you know about a old Lodge & Shipley metal lathe? Look to be very old but turns over. [Linked Image]

Nice bit of kit that. Does it come with a full compliment of change gears ?? What does the bed look like ?? Looks like it comes with a couple of extra chucks ad a face plate as well ....

I know nothing about metal lathes. There is stuff on the floor the wall shelves and the white bench's. It will take a day just to sort all the stuff that goes with it. It is around 8 foot long and looks heavy! Thanks for your time.

If you have any specific questions, take some close up pics of what you want to know and I'll try and clear it up for you

Most of those old belt drives, have bushings in the headstock. If they have been run alot, most are pretty loose and hard to get closer than a few thousands! Good luck with your new find. I have an old Clausing just about like that, that is worn out in the headstock. Only good for roughing stuff out.
