i guess I don't understand capturing and keeping some alive

I would go scorched earth

just call in the air strike


I wonder if they get paid by the hornet , a bounty system that would explain collecting them up

I guessed it was for a bounty payment and possibly for traditional Asian medicine or cuisine. They do eat scorpions and cobras.

I did my annual clean out the deer blind chores (a little late) last weekend. I go through several cans of wasp spray in the process. I hate them and they hate me back.

I would guess they come to the bait they net the scout and glue or tie the flag too it while holding it with gloves
