Question for the veteran trappers: Has anyone used beaver urine for anything on their traplines? Just hate to waste it when I butcher the beaver carcass.

.. I think Jtrap mixes it with Jim beam in the evening... other than that I haven’t heard of another practical use for it
Insert profound nonsense here

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I have tried mixing it with castor and sack oil in small amounts and it didn't work out (at least as a beaver lure). I think I remember Paul coming to the same conclusion.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I also tested it and came to the same conclusion as beaverpeeler. I assume they urinate in the water, thus getting diluted rapidly in the water leaving little to no odor. That's just an assumption with nothing to back it up.

Does kinda make me wonder how a canine would react to it...... Might try it this year with a trail cam watching. Anyone try this before?
When life gets me down..... you know hunting/trapping season is closed.
