Season still a month away, 2 months if I wait on them to prime but figured I try and get some video of some different areas.

I only have the one camera so I’ll be moving it around.

Set it up on this trail with a couple scent posts (no trap) just off to the side.




They haven’t cut any paths through the tall grass yet so I drove a couple through here. I’ll give it a couple days and then camera it to see if they start using it.

There were some fresh tracks this am but nothing significant to pull the card. We’ll see what transpires this weekend.

Had some activity last night. Hope to review and post some video later this afternoon.

You always have such nice sand dune areas to see tracks easily . I like those areas , or beach, river or lake shore sand.

Humidity and cool temps are not ideal for trail cams lens but here it is.

What did you have on the sticks? He sure seemed to like it.

It’s a sticky question, difficult to answer without promoting anybody’s product. I can tell you it’s not food related. It is disproportionately all things Red Fox.

I know that doesn’t really answer your question but it’s the best I can do outside a PM.

I started using it 5 years ago and it seems pretty consistent. Left Lane is to blame for the Tall stick, top application. lol

Had a raccoon in the area last night. The tracks indicate no interest in either stick. I apologize for the absence of video but I had to move the camera. lol

Plenty of fox tracks. It actually pushed one stick to the ground. We’ve been getting some rain, it’s a good opportunity to see how long they stay interested.

This morning, no activity. Heavy fog and 59 degrees.

No activity for a couple days at the sticks but movement in the area. Going to add the same lure today and see if I can interest them again.

Here is the forecast. Might have to move a trail cam on it. May not be able to depend on tracks telling us anything.

Hope to post some video later today.

Reviewed the video and the one thing I was hoping to see I couldn’t because of “whiteout” caused by fog.

I don’t think there is any need of posting video of a fox doing the same thing it is going in the previous video posted,

One of them turned a trail cam I had on a scrape. lol

I have not added any lure since 10/16. They are continuing to work the one stick that is still standing.

Could they still be on the lure or has the stick taken on it's own allure from them rubbing and chewing on it?
