Why does she have to be ugly?

I do believe I could make it if it were just me but go support a family I don't think they would go for it.

It might mean getting your wife a third job. Having a wife with a third job means anything is possible.

I don't thing most of the guys who have successfully made trapping a full time job asked that question on here. They had the knowledge and confidence to know they could succeed.

I did it in 1984 and made a good living in the fall and winter for several years. I did other work and odd jobs etc. during the off season. Fur prices were about 10 times what they are now in today's dollars.

Quit your job of 25+ years, at 62 years of age and apply for social security. Providing that the job has a good pension, great healthcare benefits and your wife continues to work, you should be able to keep the losses as a Professional Trapper to a minimum. Of course, that is with a few "creative" tax deductions... grin

Let's go Brandon!

Its never the right time. I say go for it. I think if you can market ANYTHING today, you can sell anything. Look around online and you can see people are spending stupid amounts of money on some pretty dumb things (to me).
