Lots of folks are talking about this show and binging it on the weekends. Some love it. Has anyone here watched it yet?

I'm debating on wasting a few evenings watcing it.

It is originally filmed in Korean so the English version doesn’t line up with their mouths. It also is obviously filmed for and by Koreans so the acting and some references strike me as odd and sub par. With that said I enjoyed the concept and and if you’re already set for trapping season I’d recommend it 👍🏼

If I turn on a show and the mouths don't match the words it is instantly out for me. I haven't had time to tune in but knowing that info I now definitely can't do it

Gotta live up to the nickname...

I got wind of the rave reviews it was getting so watched it on Netflix. I'm deaf as a nail so habitually use subtitles anyway.

It was absolutely Dire!!! eek

I think it's a 'Kings New Suit Of Clothes' thing. Too many people Want to 'Get It', because those around them are saying so.

Naah. It's carp.

I watched "Squid Games" almost immediately after it was released on Netflix, before I heard anything about it. I searched "Release the Hounds" on Netflix, a game show where they terrify the contestants, have them solve problems and then release a pack of trained attack dogs on them. "Squid Games" popped us as a similar show. The original description was very poorly written and I thought it was going to be a reality game show where they lightly tortured the contestants similar to "Takeshi's Castle" or "Za Gamin".

I really enjoyed "Squid Games". I rated it a 5 out of 5. I am looking forward to the next season. I figured out a number of ways the players could of done much better.

If you don't like violence and dark humor, you should not watch it.

It does a very good job portraying how people react under extreme stress and react to risk and reward. It does an excellent job portraying how societies can form and showing the pressures of society effecting self interest.

I liked "Squid Game", much, much better than "The Hunger Games" series and it probably cost a tiny fraction of the cost to produce. I did enjoy both.

Netflix also recommended "Scare Tactics", "Prank Encounters", "The Floor is Lava" and a few other choices too. I previously watched the three I named.

I like supernatural horror movies and TV shows. They give me really good dreams.

Slasher movies are boring for me. I have to like the characters in a movie or I don't really care what happens to them.

I mostly watch horror, comedy, especially standup, nature programs, history programs and some fantasy.

Netflix usually recommends a lot of documentaries, horror movies, historical fiction and Judaica.

Don't waste your time. It's a hunger games rip off that any body with a sick mind could if wrote. The fact that it is popular is very disturbing.
