Currently I have a tote with all tools in it and another tote for lure and bait. My tool tote has pockets on the outside that my baits lures and urine will fit in. Wondering if I put them in the one tote if the smells will contaminate my tools

I don't. Have separate bag for lure bait and urine. Not that big of a deal to have a separate tote. Why take the risk is my theory

I am trapping off the 4 wheeler this year instead of my truck and trying to save room. Sounds like I should leave it as is.

Yes there's always a chance. One leak one broken bottle and the bag is contaminated.

Part of my line was hike in only. I used a duffle bag to carry everything. Lures baits and urine go in their own zip loc.

And then make sure you don't get lure on the gloves you use for bedding traps.

This works well for working out of one bag. I bait and lure in small zip lock bags ,1''×2''. These are kept in a pint or qt bait jar. I prefer the plastic ones 4 this. A little wool or cotton will help to wick and keep the bait and lure moist. Theas I use in hole sets and t bones. In a hole set most of the time u can just dig out the bag after a catch and reuse it , this also saves on bait and lure. I do carry a bucket for coal and trapps. Find what works best 4 u and have fun. U can find these bags at craft stores.

I like the idea of trying to minimize the amount of bags or buckets to carry, because they get hard to carry & then the more ya set on the ground the more human scent left behind.
