Been a long few days once again. Finally got my last batch of traps about done cooking. Time to get the wax pot heated up and things will be done for this season for the most part. Pack and sort them into some containers.

Occasionally I have to treat some traps late in the year. Usually just pressure wash and wax at that time.

Saw a nice flock of young turkeys and a few hens earlier in the Month. I haven't seen them around lately.

Its getting to feel more like fall in the air this last few days. In the 40's over night and a slight chill in the wind. It won't be long now.

That's a lot of traps. Nice work. Do you leave them hang outside very long?

I leave them all hang and air dry well before I begin the waxing process. It takes me a couple of days to cook them all but only one day to wax them all.

Nice!

That's trap prep at its finest right there.
