The only thing I see missing is some kind of power generation and a fuel storage source otherwise you have a pretty good start.

I am light on the generator. The fuel, I still need to deal with.

Nice that’s always a good feeling having firewood and food put up! Would you mind sharing any pictures or details of how you store your carrots? I’m assuming you store them in a bin with sand ? Just curious how well they keep for you that way.

I have a feeling before this is over the fuel will have to have been lost in the great railroad incident of 2020. Man 2020 was a bad year. A river accident then this.

You assume correctly. By the end of the season they get a bit limp. Plenty good for cooking, but not something Bugs Bunny would like to munch on.

I got a deer and a half in the freezer
I got wheels and plenty of wood
I know I ain’t setting the world on fire
But I think I’ve got it pretty good

I still have to put a couple of deer in the freezer and cans, but other than that I think we are doing ok ..... got enough propane for us to cook with for the next 8 month or so and plenty of firewood ready to burn. I came a little short of the potato harvest this year, but other than that we are pretty well stocked and the chickens are laying good as well.

Just finished grocery shopping today. Not good. Lots of items aren’t there. The box’s are getting smaller cans and bags as well. But price going up. Remember that crap when bummer was in house ???? Here we go again.

Isn't anyone going to come forward and say this isn't Joe's fault?

Ah, the winter of our discontent. Ammo. A buddy of mine loaded me up a bunch of 5.56 and .45 ammo, it must weigh close to ten pounds. Free, no charge.
