I ain't so well off, that I can lay back and wait for spring. Another deer, a few birds, and a lot of apples and whatever I can gather are still welcome. I'm just saying I am really happy with this stage of progress.
Let's go Brandon.

I could lay back all winter but there is coyotes to kill. Took a couple weeks off to deal with family stuff. Going to work a couple weeks now.

Starting to see some shortages this week finally. TSC didn't have our kind of dogfood, but Walmart did... they only had 4 bags though. Meat section in save a lot was only about 25% filled. Yesterday I noticed the canned good aisle at Dollar General was pretty bare. Again maybe only 25% stocked.
We bought propane a week and a half or so ago when there was a post here on it. Filled 100lb barrels at TSC for $2.96. Today at TSC propane was $3.65.

I have not noticed any shortages but food prices just keep climbing. If you still got room to put some better keep buying. I dont see prices coming down any. All that stimulus money is having its effect. Its being compounded by Bidens energy policy. Along the same lines, the D.O.T. secretary and his husband have adopted twins. Pete Buttgieg hasn't been to work since August. Its not going to get any better https://www.washingtonpost.com/transportation/2021/10/15/pete-buttigieg-time-off-parental-leave/

P.S. Buttgieg has likely never even owned a pickup. He is an ex naval officer. Just what exactly qualifies him to be in charge of transportation is beyond me. I seriously doubt he knows anything about container ships and ports designed to handle freight. I am certain he couldn't get a semi out of a truckstop parking lot.

I have not noticed any major shortages other than the local gas station sold out of diesel fuel and high octane gas. Everything is going up.

I bought another freezer yesterday and bought a 1/2 a beef from my cousin in Nebraska to be picked up mid-November. At Sam's Club yesterday and they are limiting everything from meat to paper products. You can buy all the candy you want, however. You found a freezer? I'm looking for another one but can only find 10 cubic feet or smaller. I thought having 3 freezers I would be good but apparently not.
