Absolutely not! But I don't live in a cesspool city and have a strong sense of my moral code. I just understand that I can't count on anyone saving me either. I try to be prepared, I try to have my wife prepared, I teach The Boy to be prepared, and I am teaching my 22 year old niece who now lives with us to be prepared to protect herself. I don't count on some batman type savior to save any of us. We always have at least less than lethal protection at hand when not at home.

And just to be clear I was not on the train.

I would just move my right hand about 8" draw my Glock. No heavy object needed just 180gr of lead and copper at about 1000-1100fps.

I'm with Mark on this one. No loud noises but lots of practice with "alternative" methods. Messy but effective.

My son actually intervened to stop a would-be rapist, pulling him right off the woman. He had to testify in the prosecution of the guy.

One of the reasons my son is my hero.
