Brother in-law messaged me this morning he had another skunk in his live trap in yard. I had gone out couple weeks back dealt with one for him. He had never seen how I dispatch skunks without getting old sprayed. So went showed him. The one caught few weeks back I thought bit earlier yet so didn't skin it just pulled stink sent him to train station. The one today I decided while small I'd skin. Anyway s when went pull quill thought bags looked decent size. Was bit surprised was mostly mustard, but really nice mustard. Been a while since handle lot of skunks. This young one today just seems to have nice smooth mustard.
Bottle on left was from skunk couple weeks back. One on right from skunk this morning. Not huge amount from either. Good stuff though.

Need to live in a rural area to handle that stuff. I like all parts of my anatomy so don't play with any of that here. I might flesh pepes here after they have been bathed--half grown ones almost always spray tripping a 160. Again, I don't want to lose body parts so very cautious with black and white products.

Nice job on the essence I save all mine. I use the mustard in my lure formulations and sometimes a drop at the set. The clear I always sell

When I was hired as city firefighter they had residency rule. So I had to move inside city limits to work here. Where I was living was in town just north. But was still in residential area. Anyway when I had to move into city my skunks and dogs outdoor items came too. I've tried to be good neighbor don't purposely make stink. But I also got as much right to deal with my critters here as the stinking brewery up the street does making beer. So I keep my stink low so wife doesn't complain. I don't worry what the people across street at Starbucks think. Yes I literally have a Starbucks across the street. I also have great neighbors on each side that understand how I operate. We get along just fine. I look out for them they look out for me. And when in past when I ran hard. I dealt with skunk stuff as much as could in field. But there were times guys complained about my truck in parking lot at work. Their problem not mine lol. Retired now so care even less what anyone thinks. Biggest thing I find helps when dealing with skunks. Don't let your self get rushed. I get in hurry I get more messes.
