Would a buck deer tarsal gland tincture have any value as a canine lure ingredient? Also propylene glycol or everclear as a tincturing agent?

Just keep in mind in higher deer population zones too much deer musk and tonquin can cause many fired traps from the deer investigating.

Also remember as more and more states are banning Deer urine and deer glands, such a trapping product would also be banned

Would a tincture be against the law?

Good question Seth, only the local law requirements would be able to answer that. Don't know even if they know what they are trying to enforce. Most processed deer by products would have little if any contamination potential the way I see it.

In my state and others that I have talked to yes tincture is still banned. I mentioned that tarsal tinctured in Everclear, I have a hard time believing anything can live in that. I can't even manufacture here in my state anymore. Many fox and coyotes have come to tarsal in a lure formulation. My deer scent market was much larger than my trapping market for me.
