Nothin' wrong with the crockpot, still tastes like chicken!

Any gator I've ate in Florida was ground up....I'm guessing it's tough as shoe leather any other way. ? I'd sure be willing to try other ways.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Alright… since you all missed the joke—or chose to ignore it….let’s talk gator .
Best way is deep fried with minimal seasoning. Nothing worse than eating something that doesn’t taste like it is supposed too……: Options are limited for us Yankees though..anybody got recipes ??
I was in Florida at a bar called Woodies outside St Pete Beach. Ordered the gator tail and beer…best I ever had….
I was three bites in and half a beer…..the waitress asked how the gator tail was…….I told her it was the best piece of tail I ever got from a waitress……she didn’t smile and I was cutoff from the bar……

I'm ashamed to say how long it took me to get the joke... which I didn't even realize until after the post telling me that it was a joke
Just happy to be here.

Good stuff , got the T-shirt too. Nice place , full restaurant , raw bar. They had gator nuggets , gator tail steak and gator ribs. Funky atmosphere. Sadly, they are now gone and closed for good , they had several locations.

Since anyone and everyone knows it’s in poor taste to cook a gator in a crockpot. I see a change in the critter as being the easiest.
Get yourself an American crocodile and a crockpot is perfect!
Since these critters are scarce I’m pretty sure they are on the endangered species list.
Which automatically puts them on the no fry list as well.
