I wonder if one of my cousins was on set. She does casting for various shoes and movies here.

Is it bad that a person is having difficulty scraping up an ounce of sympathy for those play actors that are so divorced from reality that these kind of incidents become inevitable?

If they were educated on guns instead of ignorant things would have gone much better.

I would almost bet that he won't be convicted of anything which is absolutely sad. Sure he didn't maliciously intend to kill anyone in the slightest, but he pulled the trigger resulting in a death. The rich and famous always seem to get.off the hook even though when it comes down to it, they are just humans like you or me. A good example of this happening this year would be the Dodgers' pitcher Trevor Bauer, accused of rape and sodomy with pretty good evidence against him. He remains uncharged. He wasn't able to play in the majors anymore this season, but he deserves legal penalties.

Like other have stated doesn’t have to be live rounds blanks can and have killed before, while maybe not as dangerous as live rounds they are still dangerous even deadly, in this case sounds like pure carelessness compounded by stupidity, same thing that killed Brandon Lee

Just like that case doubt anyone will really be held accountable

I remember some guy killed himself accidentally using blanks, think that nothing happens he put the gun to his head and died. You know when we were kids there were no accidents like that in the cowboy and indian times because everyone understood guns then?????.......jk

If they are using period guns, those guns usually comes from one company. I wonder if someone on sat had a grudge against Baldwin or someone else on staff.

It's the person pulling the trigger responsibility to make sure that nothing goes wrong. Being an actor doesn't.excuse Baldwin from that responsibility.

When the firearm salesman checks the chamber and hands you the gun most probably still check it when handed to them.

A person died because of his negligence and he needs to be held accountable.

He is part of the elite and will walk away scot free.....you or I would go to jail, so let that sink in and then your mind is on the path to accepting the way things are. That is the first step to things being changed.

This all boils down to negligence. Negligence by numerous people on that set and they should all be charged. They all neglected basic gun safety rules.

If this was anyone else there would already be charges filed for at the very least 2 counts negligent use of a firearm. Nm politics is beyond corrupt so I see them all skating by.
