1…. Will Alec Baldwin be charged in the shooting death ? Like Manslaughter?
2…. Can the DA Charge him with Manslaughter or another crime even if the victims
family does not want the DA to charged Alec Baldwin with a crime ?

Yes the DA can charge him and anyone else responsible on the set.
I highly doubt any of them will be charged for anything. NM is so corrupt, elites and politicans are protected here.

#1 I doubt it -- should be able to. #2 I don't know. actors, lawyers, and politicians rank far above the other protected classes.alongside pro atheletes.

I would hate to be the the DA if he does not charge Alec Baldwin. It would be so easy to run against him in a election if he does not charge him with a crime. I made a mistake by not running for are Mayor office in my small 25,000 population town. Are election is Nov 2. Are newspaper ran a article on all the candidates on what they would do to make our city better. All a bunch of hogwash. General statements from every one that no voter would be against. So how do you know what your getting with your vote ? Not one candidate would say what they stand for in the newspaper article this week. Plus no one would declare if they were a Republican or Democrat.
I guess that is standard practice now a days for local offices , but I sure would like to know. I think a candidate would have a good chance of winning any local office if he ran on a anti vaccine mandate , free choice , anti mask , anti C.R.T , tough on crime ( no defund police. If you are in a community that is close to 50/50 Republican / Democrat Don’t see how you could not win THIS YEAR if the newspaper would print your position. I would say it will be interesting to see if Alec Baldwin is not charged if candidates will come out of the wood work to run against DA when he is up for re-election. MD

Someone dies in a car wreck for any reason the guilty party is always charged if they aren't the deceased. No such thing as a hunting accident or accidental discharge in Georgia, someone is going to trial.

As repulsive as Baldwin is, the whole thing sounds like it was an accident. Doubt there will be any charges.

If any charges are filed it will probably be against some prop guy or stage hand for some sort of negligence.

He was handed a "cold gun." It was announced as a "cold gun." He was handling what should have been as dangerous as a water gun.

Alec Baldwin is a nut job. An unashamed enemy of trappers and other outdoorsmen. Of course TMan folks want him in jail.

Alec Baldwin has been documented to have all sorts of hostility issues over the years yet he has never been charged with anything. I don't think they will start now with something that is not entirely his fault. Civil liability is a different story.
