Copper plated BB shot had taken a lot of coyotes That's my choice also.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

Can you still find copper plated BB? I was lucky to find 3 boxes of 1 7/8 Oz. buffered copper plated BBs 3" 12 gauge at BPS 2 years ago on close out. Checked their website and it said being discontinued.

I知 gonna say something nobody else has.If it will kill a turkey it will kill a coyote.Just another option that might work during the ammo shortage. Have u compared a turkeys head to a coyotes.

Maybe those super TSS "whammy " shells, but I personally wouldn't go smaller than lead BB. I have been peppered and hit with birdshot over the years, being at dove fields, running dogs/guiding upland hunters, and waterfowling. By far the worst incident was catching swan poachers in the spring robbing nests and was hit by lead BB shot at 50 yards. My left side took 10 pellets that penetrated carhartt bibs and went a few inches.

I致e shot 2 yotes turkey hunting but I aimed behind the shoulder. Both of them acted like they got stung by a bee ran 5 feet and tipped over.

The main part of killing a coyote with a shotgun is limiting your range . I killed two coyotes with three shots while quail hunting with 7/8ths an oz of 7 1/2 shot with a skeet choke. I was calling to get the quail to answer and two coyotes ran to me. I have skinned a lot of coyotes that were killed with copper platted lead BB's. They are a good choice.

I知 gonna say something nobody else has.If it will kill a turkey it will kill a coyote.Just another option that might work during the ammo shortage. Exactly what I use....Turkey shells are cheap, easy to get, at least they were. 2 3/4 or 3 inch #4 shot, but I hunt 50 yards or less in my brushy area, over salvaged road kill.
you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

Quite possible, most "turkey" loads are powerful enough BUT ive easily killed turkeys with loads that won't touch a coyote Yeah I definitely phrased that wrong.A true turkey load shot through a turkey load choke and that has a awesome pattern will kill a coyote

Anyone tried Hornady 3" nickle plated BB coyote load? I'm running really low on 4 buck and can't find anymore in 3" so I bought a box of ten the other day. I know Les Johnson uses them. Anyone else use them?

Buffered #4 buck is used here. Modified or Improved barrel. Most shot in 30 inch circle at 40 yards. Drop in tracks at 65 yards. Got to aim a little high at times. I have skinned quite a few coyotes with copper BB's in them. Trapped coyotes by me. Had been called in by someone.

Anyone else use them? They are quality shells, but I prefer to roll my own. 1,300 fps is a good starting point, but I load my #4 buck to 1,475 fps( buffered& powdered coated) with pro reach powder. The pinnacle is the flight control wads, they were available years ago on demilled hulls but not now.

Anyone else use them? I really didn't like their performance for me. They worked if you were sub-30 yards but not really fast if you know what I'm saying. The #4 buck preformed way better.
