Get a lion here in KS every now and then. Probably 90 % of the stories you hear are mistaken I.D. or flat out lies. With lies being the preponderance.


Couple years ago a guy I was hauling for showed me a picture of a housecat on a trail cam. When I said it looked like a pet he blew up. Somebody at wildlife and parks had told him the same thing. Now he is convinced they are secretly releasing them to control deer and I am in on the conspiracy.

Same here Danny. Come through once and a while, but from the stories some.folks tell you would swear some.folks believe we have lots of them around. I take all of them with a grain of salt.

I especially enjoy the black panther stories! Seems every farmer has one!
