so this passed weekend a local tragedy happened 7 highschool kids left a party two will never come home one in a coma a fourth will never walk again on their own legs the three others suffered broken bones

in this small towns local high school 7 kids is like an 1/4 of the gradution class so it affects a lot of people i know prayers have been sent from my family as i have two kids still in high school my two oldest have jobs now but still know if they need a ride from a party that dad has their back no matter the time no questions asked my eldest daughter used it every weekend which we still joke about

i just hope there was no bad feelings between these kids and their parents
and i hope for the fellow trappers on here who have kids in school that you tell your kids they have a ride no matter what

kids will be kids and drinking drugs parties never end well with driving home

Small town in Colorado lost 5 youth in a car wreck a couple months ago. Pretty tough situation.

I talk with my two teens often about being smart and safe.

This same story, touches most towns. A small community it hits real hard. Thinking back , it is mindboggling the number of kids in my school years that are no longer with us due to various things. accidents, drownings, etc old 243
