I made a previous post a few days ago about having leg pain after having a shot,,, I had inquired if anyone else may have had similar issues… welp,,, went to dr today and found out I’ve been blessed with shingles,,, he said that is why my blasted leg hurts,,, clear down to the bone feels like. He said there’s not much he can do because it’s so faff to advanced except to give me some pain meds to help ease it. This really sucks guys!! Said a minimum of 2 weeks before it probably gets better

Hope you feel better soon. My grandmother and mother both suffered with it. I went and got the shot for it hopefully I won't get it. Once the new shot came out a couple years ago mom got it and hasn't had it flair up since.

I just got back from the ER. Hard time walking the last 2 days. Never had a back problem. Sciatic. Got a shot above the butt. My excuse now is I’m waiting for the yotes to prime up.

I thought that is what was wrong with me was they hit a nerve,,apprantly it wasn’t

You're not supposed to get the vaccine during active shingles but I when I had shingles a couple years ago, I called a CVS, scheduled an appointment time and X marks the arm spot.

Ahhhhhhh in 2 days.

Booster 6 months later.

Get on valtrex ASAP . I got them on my face and started the meds the next day was cleared up and gone in 10 days. ONLY 1 THANK GOD day of shooting blinding pain. then itching for couple weeks.

They suck, it’s pretty much whatever you feel like doing, which probably isn’t much.

Valtrex and then get the shingles vaccine it works. You can get them again and no you do not get immunity from having it had it twice and that was before Valtrex and vaccine worst pain I have ever experienced. If you waited more than 48 hours Valtrex will not help, I hope its 2 weeks I missed 6 weeks of work and had issues from it for 3 years. I feel sorry for you buddy hang in.

I was offer vaccine for shingles at doc appt a lil over week ago, got flu shot but not shingles , say had come back again an was told kinda on rare side, doc say something about it bad if get eyes I think but not rember what say
