PAskinner trapper P Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 4,497 PA	I don't catch a lot of grays because they aren't thick here, but stepdown dirtholes work good. If I was only after gray's and coon or cats I'd guide them a lot. I've caught them in flats sets, dirtholes and scent posts and blind sets. Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Can't say I ever did better with store bought lures since, now that I think more about it.

Brian Mongeau trapper Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 1,121 Killingly, CT	Horse hoof lure. I think I read the directions right here on Tman many years ago. Seemed to work great on greys, but don't remember ever catching a red or coyote on it. Cotton ball down the hole with a squirt of lure.
