Anybody know if its good or bad to feed raccoon scrapings to chickens? Egg birds. I usually just dump the fat in the woods, but got curious if the birds would like it, or if its bad for them.

If you run some hot water over the bottom of those tupperware containers, they'll pop right out.

The dogs love them if you cookthem a little . Chickens go crazy over the carcasses . Ive had them start laying again after putting out carcasses . Pigs really like them too

I got a neighbor that feeds them road killed deer so I doubt it would hurt them. Not sure if they would carry any parasites' that they could get.

Dirty dog, just spent the afternoon rendering down a bunch of coon fleshing. Going to make some of those feeders and patch lube for my flintlock.

Chickens will eat anything, even coyotes! A fact I have failed to tell my wife.

I was going to be smart and save money and use coon fat at the bird feeders and there was very little eating. Took the stuff to a spot in a cattail bed and the crows went wild, as did the grinners. They were living right in the cattails and I was the catering service.
