The neat thing about this is, Bob said he does this every year, but I've been on here for about ten years and no one has acknowledged it in the past that I have seen. I think he needed a shout out for his contributions, past and present!

Well let me speak up. He sent me a care package last year. Out of the blue. I said nothing on here as I didnt figure he wanted it to be public. Two boxes of stuff. Have not been able try it all yet. Even sent me some trout oil and other scent making goodies.


So now that its public let me add a public thank you Bob.

I would like to publicly thank Lee for giving me 5 new Death Ray's (in competition with Bob) as one of the nicest fellows on Trapperman. Have been waiting for them to arrive for 7 years now as shipping is slow from Kansas to Nebraska due to the containers on ships backed up in the Missouri River Harbor. Even though the price has increased some due to a "chip" shortage, this generous gift was done because he (Lee) is turning 75 and wants to keep the inventory "Fresh". He remarked to me that my owner's manuals should be "in the mail" soon but not to expect a version I could understand easily as it takes quite a lot of concentration for us Nebraskans to squeeze the handle and stay out of the "catch circle" at the same time. When I was notified as the winner (7 years ago) he mentioned to me that its great when your age equals your I.Q. and that I should know as I am 67 and I hit that # back in my 50's (remember I still trap beaver). But each year I get just a little smarter. So Bob, don't be too down as you are still the highest regarded trapper in your state by other trappers and that says a lot (and I have an older #4 Mont. Coil pan still connected to a trap for you when you make here to Nebr.)............................................................. These two guys are a credit to us all and I want to be like them when I grow up and stop trapping BEAVER................................... the mike .
