Started the morning with a duck hunt

[Linked Image]

Set up a nuisance beaver job, then fishing in the afternoon. Got this nice 39" musky. Even got it on a homemade lure

[Linked Image]

Even had a 29" walleye decide to eat an 11" homemade shallow diver at 5mph lol.. thick fish.

Hoping for some beaver at the nuisance job today.

Like the mixed bag stuff. Have a try at the ducks - bufflehead, ring necks, goldeneye and scaup?

Go hutchy!

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Nice mix of divers. The muskie and walleye are good looking fish. That eye must have had the feed bag on to hit that big plug at 5 mph!

Close, but no bluebills (scaup) were shot.

The one goldeneye was nice to get. They are just starting to show up!

There really aren't many around here either. It's all going to happen fast when things get cold

Thanks Hutchy - 2 bigger ones on the end gotta be drake ring necks. Enjoy puzzling out ducks.

Water is 51 degrees still. Too warm to keep beaver in for more than a day or so. Open water fur might actually be prime this year. I often get frozen out second week of November. Don't see that happening this year

Nice. I'm so lazy about practicing with the bow.

Hence, I keep my shots under 20 yards haha
