Bought a used tundra last spring. Road it around the house once before the snow disappeared. Pretty green on these new 4 strokes. What should I do, check, etc. pre season? Thinking there will be enough snow next week to try it on the steese bou hunt.

Get it serviced its a pretty basic machine. If you have oil and antifreeze in the machine your fine. Check your skags.

And grease all the fittings like with any other machine.

Check and adjust the belt/clutch.

Ck. mileage and previous owner's record for replacement of main drive shaft bearing before 10,000 km./6,200 miles. If has that much mileage yet of course.

Rest of it look at owner's manual for maintenance schedule. Ck. w previous owner how well they stuck w maintenance schedule e.g. fuel filter at 6,000 km/3720 miles is important.

Get a ski widener kit too and adjust shock as kit tells u to. Front bumper too if not already and stud track too but sides not middle so as to protect cooling system.
