Were they varnished? I bought a set similar to those at a garage sale and sold them at a flea market for 100. I think I shorted myself. No they were not. If you got a set that was officially scored close to this one you definitely left several hundred dollars on the table.

All I ever find are dinks that are way overpriced. Come to think of it it's about the same luck I have actually hunting.

I sure wish I had gone to that sale before you got there. I often pick up nice racks if I like them and look for the exceptional ones like that. Dang, what a find!! Sorry I missed it. I don't live but 15 miles from you so I might have come close to it since I go to a LOT of sales looking for just that same thing. I would make you a fair offer before you become too emotionally attached to it. I think I could find the place again, I have been thinking about going back to see if they sold the other one, I didn't realize how big it was since it was sitting next to this one but I'll bet it was 160 or close.
