Coyote

I'm not an expert and don't claim to be. But I would have said domestic dog. Can you tell me what you are seeing there that says coyote. I always thought a domestic was rounder and coyotes more oval. And those look round to me.

Look at the first track Its as oval as you can get.

I called it dog. But they are sometimes similar, look for scat it's much easier to identify.

When I see tracks like those, I always look for better ones which represent typical stance and/or relaxed gate, without much of any toe spread.
Then I look for the oval shape and for the center toes to be close together, and the outside toes to be a noticeable distance rearward.
Anything else and I would tend to commit to only a hunch.
