As old fogeys, we (wife and me) are not up on the ins and outs of streaming. However we have been using prime video successfully on her iPhone 10 and our fairly old iPad. We plug the phone or iPad into an adapter to go into an HDMI port. Last night I downloaded the Peacock app on my iPhone 7. Free version. Tried to watch S1E1 of Yellowstone. Our TV has all the various ports but is not a smart tv. Using my phone, we were able to get the sound on the tv but no video. We kept stopping and "resume" the show but could not get video on tv. Vid was loud and clear on my phone. I went to the trailer offered for season 3. IT WORKED, video included! Wife downloaded free app on her i10 and I signed in on my account. Same thing, sound no video. Soooooo.......maybe it isn't really free. Paid 4.99 for the upgrade. Same BS.........sound no vid. I tried other shows offered on peacock and none of them worked either. Finally gave up and watched a prime video with no problem, except it sucked and we didn't finish it! Anyone got ani ideas? I checked the settings on my phone and couldn't find anything to help there. I believe we are streaming thru our house wifi, which is wireless.

I don't know the answer to your question but Peacock probably has a help line that you can call and they can walk you through it.

My son got me into Yellow Stone…..I still have to binge watch the beginning…..But the new stuff is on tonight…Great Series ! You bet it is, Nessy. Just watched it . I have the series and will have this new one too. Those horses and trainers are going to be the powerhouse of the ranch to come. I recognized the Lena lines as they performed. Remember how wimpy Jamie listened to his father about NOT investing in horses.....and in the same show John saw the value of investing in the whole industry to give the ranch a legacy in enduring value. Most beautiful mountains seen, but often not close enough for me. Still there , all the same.

Well believe me when I say they are ! I think there are four industries on earth that invest in the most expensive horses...Thoroughbreds, Arabians , AQHA ( Quarter horses) , and the warm blood mix industry....those who do cross-country events ...into the Olympics. I suspect , in all the world ...transporting...breeding...showing....stud fees .... Olympic dressage and jumping.....the warm bloods end up cashing in the most over time. But I think it is a neck and neck winning with the aforementioned industries. To gauge the cost investments, I love warming up a horse in my Aussie gear on the show grounds....wandering all over the grounds, among the crowds, the show barns, the teams marching past me to the arenas, to the parking lots....especially. Seeing all those through the roof semis and trailers , equipped with full medical, rider and horse accommodations . The money spent in just getting them all there , much less the yearly maintenance and training , is astounding. I have the best of both worlds....I don't own them, but am paid to ride them. Sweet and sour.....when you find that one who looks at you and says , in heart, " I would work so well for you alone " ....that is the challenge of balanced business contracts.

We use a roku, apple products generally only work well with other apple products This is probably your best bet. I tried researching your issue this morning (I have NO experience with Apple products) but while I found a lot of people having your issue, no real answers or advice other than to restart the phone/tv/modem etc. You can pick up a Roku at Walmart or on Amazon for about $25. You'll get the free Roku streaming service with is as well as the ability to load a bunch of other free apps which will give you tons of shows and movies to choose from. Once you get that just download the peacock app to it and you'll be good to go.

Thanks yotetrapper. I'll look into that. Doesn't robust also have a monthly subscription charge? If you mean Roku, no. They might have a premium version or something, but their regular service and using the device to stream everything else is both free. Many of the apps on Roku are free, others, like your $5/month Peacock, are not (there is a free peacock app). But if you're not particular about having the newest series and movies, there is TONS of free content on there. And with your $5 month Peacock you should be good for Yellowstone. This little critter right here.... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Roku-Exp...and-Simple-Remote/120569644?athbdg=L1600
