Things are getting crazy before processing was about the same as the price of the hog now it $100 more for the basic cut and wrap with hams, sausage and bacon smoked. I bought 2 packs of black label bacon last month $9 a packageover a pound I thought that was kind of high LOL

What Gary Benson said. Can cut the loin into chops. Can cook as pork roast. Can cook pork butt (shoulder) for pulled pork, cut steaks off the boneless part, cure the bonless part and cut down for bacon, bone out the shoulder blade and grind for sausage.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Just ordered a pig from a local farmer and filled out a cut sheet. He says $600 to $625 Butchered and vac sealed. He even delivers it to you. I have not bought a pig before and have no idea what an average weight finished would be.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I have not bought a pig before and have no idea what an average weight finished would be. That's about two bucks a lb which ain't a bad deal if it's good pork.

Yes, that price includes everything. So, 150lbs or in that ballpark. I understand that is no guarantee. Just was wondering so I have enough freezer space. Might have to gift some to my family, but I am good with that too.

I have not bought a pig before and have no idea what an average weight finished would be. Seems a little high to me, but I haven't bought a pig for a while. If it weighs 300lbs (that's a big one), you will likely end up with maybe 150lbs of meat. That's around $4.00 per pound.
