I’m sure this has been brought up before but what is everybody’s old reliable lure for Eastern coyotes ??? I live in Va ..

I’m probably not the best guy to give advice on this. I don’t knock down the numbers some do. I put more stock in good bait and urine for coyotes than lure itself. Most baits now days have so much in em they are like a lure anyway IMO

And Caven's Canine Force is an absolute killer. Just use a tiny, tiny amount at the set or you will get a roller.

I’ve had good success with Down South Trappers lures. Mr. Steve Phillips makes some good stuff. They are based in West Alabama. Clear Cut K-9, Southern Stihl, Black Panther. It’s good stuff.

I've had better luck not using any lure. Just bait and a few drops of urine. If your on location, thats about all you need.

Almost every time I make a blind trail set for a cat, a yote gets in it.

Look up Night Owl Lures, they are often over looked but have very good lures, based in the East too. Bob Jameson as well, great products!

I personally like red fox gland lure for coyotes most of the time also like yodel dog and cat-man-do. I use fox urine for everything I feel it triggers a territorial response but dosen't seem to make the young dogs as nervous to work a set. I may get pushback saying that but the tracks in the snow have taught me some young coyotes seem to not want to work a set with coyote urine but will hit a set with fox a few feet away.
