I cannot find any anywhere. I have been looking for months. I have three rounds left and still need to get my rifle properly dialed in. On another note do any of you shoot a Winchester model 70. I bought this a few years back and really can't get it to group as well as I would like.

Found quite a bit of 7mm ammo at fleet farm here but I stop in every couple weeks to look for certain things.

You may want to Google Ammo Seeker and see what you can find. I shoot model 70's. Without more details, have you tried different brands and bullet weights of ammo? Checked the action screws as well as mounting screws?

I have nothing clever to put here.

Winchester Model 70: I'll assume the barrel is free floated. Tighten the front and rear action screws down tight. The middle screw should be brought up snug, then back off a half turn.

I've tried different brands but nothing over 150 grains Federal Remington and Winchester. It could even partially be me I have noticed a flinching problem LOL

As far as ammo goes I got a couple boxes for my brother at Wal Mart $31 a box. It's just luck to come across any ammo especially this time of year.
Now for the gun, put a brake on it or get a milder shooting caliber. I hate recoil and won an auction on gunbroker for a 270 that came with a brake. What a difference, virtually no recoil. I've got another 270 and if I start using that most likely there will be a brake put on it as well.

if your bothered by the recoil you need better hearing protection

No 77 mag here either. Glad I got the last two boxes, but that was last year. Not a lot to spare now.

I used three rounds on this guy and should of only shot once. His lungs were spaghetti but I hate it when they just stand there.

7mm ammo is hard to find. Have seen a box here and there on rare occasion.

I have a Model 70 in 7mm Mag. It will shoot sub MOA with 140gr Barnes TSXs.

Amen to That^^^

And sometimes you need to wear that hearing protection while re training yourself with a low recoil firearm.
Wear the plugs and ear muffs. Your flinch is more from the brain saying, " here it comes"

I have three boxes from three different manufacturers in three different weights. I try to buy a couple of boxes within the same lot number for consistency sake but don't always manage to do so. They all group pretty close so it's not a huge issue. Put this little guy down with it yesterday morning. Rattling and a few doe bleats did him in. [Linked Image]

Green, I'm having the same issue with 308 ammo...A couple of people on here have suggested websites, but I found here in NY you HAVE TO have an FFL to order ammo online...

Handloading is the best alternative IMO. I have shot a 7mm mag for the last50 years and all rounds have been reloads.

One suggestion for sighting in the rifle or shooting off a bench. Buy a 25 pound bag of lead shot and put it between your shoulder and the gun butt. Makes a big difference.

I have a winchester model 70 classic sporter left handed in 7mm STW. It shot very good out of the box with remington 140 gr core lokts. Took it out of the stock to tune the trigger and it didn't shoot near as good as it did before. Ordered hex head action screws and did a glass and pillar bed job on it and now it shoots amazing with 150 gr sierra gameking handloads. Have 4 other model 70's and they all shoot good. They seem to be finicky about action screw tightness
