Ought to be a couple lessons learned. The MOST guilty in all this was whoever it is in public office......the one's responsible for maintaining order.......to stand down and let it burn. These are not protests.......they are full blown lawless riots, with looting and arson thrown in for good measure. That cannot be allowed to happen in civil society no matter what. We assign that authority to them, and they cannot absolve the responsibility. If they do, all bets are off.

Second......if you do elect to participate in a full blown riot, you can now assume you do not get a free pass. You are no longer an untouchable.

Lastly, the final beat down has to come to the media's front door. They accept and promote the lies, and then lie about lies.....and promote the violence. Condone and sanction it. That cannot continue either.

CNN, MSNBC, CNBC.... Biden included as he made his white supremacist remarks before he took office, better all open their checkbooks because the defamation suits are coming and they are toast. Every talking head that defamed him is going to have to pay the piper now.

I'd be very surprised if a defamation suit makes any headway.

That prosecutor should be disbarred for all the BS he pulled during the trial.

Rittenhouse is lucky..none of the victims were black...could be a very different out out come...like it or not. Bet no riots either...just white guys dead. And the guy with no bicep getting. Charged with anything ?

Say what? Every paper in the country has printed articles calling him a vigilante, a white supremacist, owning a weapon illegally etc etc. You obviously haven't read anything if you haven't seen what the media has been saying about him. This case was tried in the court of public opinion long before it ever reached the courthouse. Note, those chickens have come home to roost.
