I been hunting 3 giant bucks all season but haven't gotten a look nor a pic of either in the daylight hours. Monday as I was going to my farm I saw the biggest 10 point him tending a doe in the neighbors barn lot. Yes I have permission to hunt his land as it joins my farm. BUT I just couldn't make myself stop and shoot him out of this guys yard . The barn is beside his driveway. I stopped and ran them out of the yard so the road hunters wouldn't stop and pop him. Only bad thing is they didn't run back behind the barn onto his land and towards a stand I have they crossed the road unto another guys land and into a giant thicket. Guy lives in fla and doesn't let people hunt there. But hope he comes thru as I have 4 more days of season. [Linked Image]

Hope you get him. I’m after one I’ve called The Ghost. I don’t like names on deer, but all I had was night time pics. Finally saw him last week and he was with a doe. If I rifle hunted, he’d be dead. Hadn’t got a pic of him since and he showed up last night on a camera I put out trying to find him. Then this morning he shows up on that same camera 150 yards away from where I was swaying in a pine!!! Got the stand moved to the ONLY tree that would work and will give him a go Friday. Got to have a West something wind to hunt it.
Good luck with yours. They don’t get big by being stupid except during the rut.

Chasing tail is the downfall of many a smart buck that would otherwise be nearly impossible to kill.

Hopefully you get him
