Went back for another day of filling crop tags for another elderly couple I had the biggest one processed for myself. The biggest one was at 373 yards looking straight at me

Sure it wasn't 371 or 375 yards away...?

LOL not according to my range finder AFTER I shot her. Missed first round. she just turned and looked dead on at me . Fatal mistake . I knew left and right wasn't an issue , so put it on the center of her throat and pulled. I was on my e- bike going back to the truck when I saw them in the field. Had to get down in the prone position which is hard on a fat, crippled up, arthritic old man. LOL (getting back up anyway )

Proud of that shot since the 6 mm is topped by a 45 year old weaver K-6 scope. The original scope that I put on this sweet rifle when I bought it at the age of 13.

Jbyrd is the Michael Jordan of deer hunting. Dunks from the free throw line and all

Gotta live up to the nickname...

This is how I can hunt alone with my back issues Present from my smoking hot loving wife 5 years ago Also makes gutting a breeze since I don’t have to bend to do it

If she really loved you, she would have bought you an electric hoist!

So how did those other folks do after you told them where to go?

They killed 4 does and a 6 pt that weekend Think they missed 3 more Guess ranges in a field 800 yards end to end is tricky

Which 87 grain bullet? I'm getting ready to start load development for a twin to your 6mm. I was going with 100 grain.......Hornady Interlock and/or Nosler partitions.
