Otter creek happened to pop in my head the other day..so,Out of pure curiosity, I tried looking them up ,, I cannot seem to locate a website anymore,,, did they go under?

yup.

I wanna say I saw him 2009ish at Michigan convention.

Then he kinda went off track if I remember right. Bad deals or got into trouble with law or something?

Galen had some problems with the fur buying portion of the business years ago. He started couple of side hussle ventures before success with the pickling venture and hasn't looked back. Galen sold the lure/bait business and name a few years ago. The new owners were at Nationals this year. I spent some time talking with them and had a business card; but can't readily put my hands on it now. I didn't recall seeing any lures with the Otter Creek brand on them at their booth, but I may have missed it. My eyesight and memory aren't as good as they once were.
