Killed a mosquito last week deer hunting. Hopefully thats the last one for the year.

Killed a mosquito last week deer hunting. Hopefully thats the last one for the year. Did you have a migratory bird permit for that mosquito ? You know well that they are the official bird of Minnesota and it was in transit to warmer climates.

We seem to have had a good hatch of box elders too. Some years you don't see many. I wonder if the chickens eat them. If they do, they don't seem to be doing a good job of it. It was -6 the other morning, you would think it would have slowed them down more.
