Anyone else still have bugs reptiles still out in their neck of the woods?

Here it is Dec, and grasshoppers lizards reptiles bugs etc... are still out and about. I don't ever remember seeing any of them out this late.

Killed a mosquito last week deer hunting. Hopefully thats the last one for the year.

Did you have a migratory bird permit for that mosquito ?
You know well that they are the official bird of Minnesota and it was in transit to warmer climates.

So strange to be in December and see bugs reptiles and no snow has fallen except in areas at 9000' +

We seem to have had a good hatch of box elders too. Some years you don't see many. I wonder if the chickens eat them. If they do, they don't seem to be doing a good job of it. It was -6 the other morning, you would think it would have slowed them down more.
