Zim told me about this place Wiebke Fur & Trading Co in Lacrosse WI , they have nice deer hide gloves in sizes including 2X I picked up a few pair while we were there. they are almost too nice for work gloves but at 15 a pair comparable to the gloves cost wise you find at farm and fleet for wood splitting get this three pack of split leather https://www.farmandfleet.com/produc...er-split-unlined-work-gloves-3-pack.htmlthey wear ok , splitting and tossing wood is hard on gloves I can shred fingers in a day on many gloves I need them in 2X as XL is just a little small your right in that glove selection stinks , add needing a 2X in may gloves and it gets even worse when I have a pair broken in a bit if I need them warm I put wool liners from the army surplus on then slip my hands in the gloves
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I can't find leather gloves that last anywhere around here. I've been buying them in Wyoming when I get out there. This year I finally smartened up and took a pic of the label before tossing it. They are: Golden Stag Iron Fencer gloves

I get lots of choices at local farm and ranch stores that aren't chains like TSC.

Deer skin for light duty and elk for heavy duty they out last all other leather and very supple. So what would you get for super heavy duty, Moose?

White Goatskin gloves at the feed mill or lumber yard My favorite work glove though I wear them out faster than cow, deer and elk leather.

Well, believe it or not the BEST and warmerst gloves can be had for less than $5 a pair. I simply buy a dozen or however many pairs come in a bulk pack of cheap brown jerseys gloves and a bulk pack of leather palm safety cuff gloves. Wash and dry the Jerseys and wear a pair of them inside the safety cuffs. Try it. You will be impressed. thanks, I already have a bunch of the jersey gloves

Sam's Club, "Plainsman" Cambretta leather, (sheep skin), 2 pair, $20. If you need them for cutting and splitting firewood, stay away from Plainsman. I can wear a pair out in an afternoon. WS
